Did a person have to be full American Indian to get on the Dawes roll?

You know the rolls Indians are on… did a person have to be full blood Indian to get on them?

you do realize the dawes rolls only cover a couple different nations right? most of us are not on the dawes rolls which was a white invention.

and no..you had to actually be a recognized member of the nation to be on the original rolls.
