Anyone here who has moved state to state before, what is it like? I will have to leave for a job that includes

out of state travel and living. And was wondering, how do you make yourself comfortable once you moved out of the same spot you lived for your whole life?

Take a few personal things that are easy to transport and always put them where you can see them. That will make each place your home. Do some homework on the new place to find out where the things you enjoy such as museums, banks, grocery stores, parks, etc. so that you’ll be familiar with the area before you get there. I did this for a few years and I have many memories and wonderful stories. Go with an open mind and while sometimes you’ll be homesick you may really have fun.
