Coin Collectors I need your help!?
Hey I am going to start collecting Jefferson Head Nickles and so I was doing some research and I came upon this website that I think that would help me understanding how much the Nickle would be worth if I am to purchase it. So can you explain to me what this website means.

The site belongs to PCGS a coin grading company. It is their idea of what their slabbed graded coins are worth. If you are willing to do some work yoursel you can put a nice Jefferson nickel set together. It will take you learing to grade the coins yourself. Learn what a full steps mint state Jefferson looks like. Putting together a Jefferson set that i graded by the professional grading services can be expensive and I am not sure you would ever get your money back in the end. The Jefferson set is over looked by a lot of collectors and has not really ever taken off except in the middle 1960′s and that was only the 1950-D nickel. There is no one date that is really that hard to find so collectors shy away from the set. A mint state set is a nice thing to look at though. it would be better if you leared about the nickel then went hunting for bargans where the dealer was to busy to really grade his coins right. hope this helps.
