CD/DVD Burner Won’t Work.?
Hey, so here’s my issue. We have just taken out the old burner and put in a new one, and we plugged it in exactly as the old one (which worked fine until the laser bust) was, the power lead in correctly, the IDE interface in correctly and this third small lead that was labelled Analogue Audio. We then put the case back on and switched the computer back on, and it kept turning off on the startup screen, and after a few times of this it came on. We can eject and close the disc tray of the new burner but that is it, the computer doesn’t recognizee it is there and we cannot actually use it. The new burner is a Pioneer DVR-A18L Series and the old one was a LG GSA-416B. What should I do? (All help is very much appreciated thank you in advance =D)
