Grade Rare

is this a good poem to submit to a contest for my eighth grade class?

war:
voices raging but the cries are muffled
lies are belived, truth is put to rest
inocennt accused, the gulity are set free
mercey is rare when backed in a corner
fighting when there is nothing to be gained
even when war ends and peace begins
broken hearts are crying, shatterd souls are searching
for someone who is never coming back

You spelled innocent and mercy wrong, but other than that, it’s a wonderful poem. I think you’ll do well.
