How would i go about making a 1 troy ounce gold bar into 6, 5 gram coins?
I bought 1 troy ounce of gold and am interested in splitting it into 6, 5 gram coins. Who would i contact in order to have these coins made?
A troy ounce weighs approximately 31.1 grams. You will get 4.78
6.5 gram coins. You need not melt the gold to make coins, it can be rolled into a blank of appropriate thickness. The trick is to mint the coins. Do you have a design in mind?
