How much is this franc worth? 100 coin?

But mine was made in 2007. Any ways I was told that 100 franc can = about $100 US dollars. I do not see how this coin could be worth 100 dollars. So is it 100 franc or something else?

Whoever told you that 100 French Polynesian francs =$100 misplaced the decimal point by a couple of places.

According to http://coinmill.com/USD_XPF.html, it works out to $1.16. If yours has no wear on it, it might be worth a few cents more as a collectible, but I’d be surprised if you could get $1.50 for it.
