Foam Inserts

Do foam inserts in shoes work?
Problem with insert purchased OTC is that are very generic and must be designed to fit many applications. There are some that “mold” to your particular foot however they are cost prohibitive.
In my case I went to a podiatrist, covered under insurance, and they provided a heel support that was designed for my shoe. Hae had no pain since then and cost was not too bad. If you look at the cost of replacing store bought inserts over a yearly basis you will see the cost is far cheaper to have this done
Good luck
