Ultimate Luxuries – The Worlds Finest Sundae

The Golden Opulence Sundae was born out of the 50th anniversary of Serendipity restaurant. The owners were looking for a great way to ring in their “golden” anniversary, and the ultimate indulgence sundae was the result of a creative brainstorming session.
In this economy it might seem hard to find someone with $1,000 to spare that will really enjoy five scoops of the finest ice cream churned with the richest Tahitian vanilla beans money can buy. Thie complex vanilla flavor is drawn out by another infusion of genuine vanilla bean from the island country of Madagascar. This decadent mountain of ice cream is further enhanced with a topping of edible 23 Karat gold leaf, the ultimate topping for such a luxurious dessert.
The world’s most expensive sundae would be complete if it weren’t further enhanced with the world’s most expensive chocolate, featuring ultra rare Chuao chocolate. Chuao chocolate is derived from cocoa beans grown on the coast of Venezuela that are carefully harvested for the the best flavor of all. The sundae is further enhanced with an assortment of the finest candied exotic fruits from Paris, as well as truffles and Marizpan cherries. The whole dessert is then topped with a small bowl which displays Grand Passion Caviar. This exclusive fine caviar, perhaps the only designed exclusively for use in dessert, is considered by many to be the best grade caviar in the world. This fine caviar is also coveted for its distinctive gold color, which further enhances this golden anniversary treat.
A dessert like this can be served in ordinary china, even the dish is a special treat, a baccarat Harcourt crystal goblet fit to hold this over the top and one of a kind dessert. Ice cream worshippers can enjoy their first tastes of this special indulgence with an 18 Karat gold spoon which is used to minimize any effect of the taste of this masterpiece, thus completing the ultra-luxurious cycle of this golden ice cream treat.
