What is the frequency of simultaneous climax between heterosexual partners? Is it extremely rare?

There doesn’t seem to be well-founded statistics on this.

It is rare even between regular partners. A little effort can achieve a great deal amongst younger partners. Statistics are not readily available as it is a difficult subject to accurately research. One credible source states “It is ridiculous to try to achieve simultaneous orgasms. Some younger people can do it, but the vast majority of people over 50 cannot”.
Beyond that intentional simultaneous orgasms are greatly overrated. Accidental one can be great.
