I have a bottle of Rothschild Extra Fine Brandy Napoleon VSOP 1977 (imprint on bottom); drink it or dump it?

The Rothschild name normally standing for exclusive quality is becoming more and more abused over the past two decades so it depends on which branch of the Rothschild family is behind the label. If the French side, enjoy; but in France Brandy is called Cognac so something is suspect … any other country of origin then see who you can fool and sell.
