is there a time limit that an hospital collection can go after a person estate?
I have a friend who die 6months ago and he was at the hospital for few months anyway he has anyway he had an estate that he had left for his family in case that he die.So i was wonder is there a time limit that an hospital collection go after his estate? why they keep calling his wife when his wife was not the person who was at the hospital.Also can the Wife let them to stop calling her?
Also i forgot to say that my friend esate was outside of the usa.Also is there expiration time.My my friend his wife told me that the she thought that collection can only go after her husband for only just a year after he die at the hospital
They cant take anything from you. There is not a time limit however so the calls will just keep coming until the bill is paid. The wife is now responsible for the husbands debt.
