Unc path computernamec$ in Windows 7?

I have 2 windows 7 ultimate pc’s on a network. Both are in WORKGROUP. When I try to connect to one from the other by computernamec$ it prompts me for a login and password. No matter what I enter I get an error that I don’t have permission. Under the Home/Work profile I checked the option that says don’t prompt for password. Any ideas?
I changed the workgroup to MSHOMe on both but it did not help

Change the Workgroup name to MSHOME on both. Log in on both as administrator enabled user and make the changes.
Reboot both and try again.

Otherwise, make a new network share to the location c: on the other drive. C$ is only for the administrator usually.
