Do you know how many names for ‘fairy’ there is???? NEED TO KNOW!?
I plan to be an authoress and I want to write a story about Morgan le Fay. I’ve done some research and I’ve found at least hundred different names for faeries. Fay, faery, fairy, fey, pixie, elf! w/e. But there’s gotta be more.
In English, there’s:

The little people
Related to the english brownie, Scandinavian household spirits are called tomte, in Slavic they are domovoi and in German they are Heinzelmännchen.
Having said this, I recommend not constantly switching the names for the fair folk. If they are all one breed, use only 1 or 2 names for them.
Of course you could develop a backstory to explain the differences (Fae being evil and Faeries being good, for example).
