Eagle – The branded car

Eagle is one of the branded cars appreciated by many car enthusiasts.  Eagle cars were manufactured during the period 1988 to 1998. Several models of Eagle that came during that time gained high popularity. The history of Eagle will help to know when and by whom, the name was selected. Hudson and Nash formed the American Motor Corporation (AMC) and produced heavy weight cars. But they could not achieve the expected sales target. Due to the economic crisis faced by them, Renault bought AMC. But it also failed to achieve. Then Chrysler takeover the charge of AMC and renamed it as Eagle.

Premier and Medallion were the first two models of Eagle produced by Chrysler. Eagle brand lived only for a short period. Chrysler started investing in Jeep rather than Eagle. His activities increased the sales of Jeep. The dealers got more profit for Jeep when compared to Eagle. As a result of this, jeep has got very good market recognition.  And also loyal customer base was formed for jeep. Eagle was not able to get the popularity and recognition as that of jeep. Eagle suffered due to lack of advertising and marketing.

Because of the financial crisis, Chrysler stopped the manufacturing of Eagle cars by 1998. Within the period of 10 years, several models of Eagle captured a place in the heart of many car enthusiasts.  AMC Eagle Wagon, Summit Wagon, Talon and Premier were some of the popular models of Eagle.  Among these models, Talon is the sports model car.

AMC Eagle Wagon gets the appreciation as the only four wheeler passenger car that was produced in United States. The innovation of AMC in engineering makes AMC Eagle the choice for many people. Eagle Premier was the roomiest car. It was developed by the partnership of AMC and Renault. Then it was inherited by Chrysler. Smooth drive is possible with Premier.  Renault 21 was reengineered and made to hit the market with the name Eagle Medallion. Though Medallion came from Renault 21, both of them differ in style, trims, power and features available. Eagle produces subcompact cars under the name Eagle summit. Three models were introduced under Eagle summit. They are Sedan, coupe and Wagon. Among these models, Eagle Summit Wagon got more popularity. Talon is the sports model car produced by Eagle. It has 2 + 2 seating arrangement. That is 2 seats in front. And 2 seats at the back that is folded down marginally. It has color combination of two tone. For all the option level, Front wheel drive (FWD) is available. All wheel drive (AWD) is available for the top option level in Talon. Talon was the last model produced by Eagle.

Eagle brand had only short life span. But through its several innovative models the brand is still preferred by many people. The high sale of used Eagle cars stands as a proof for this. Several dealers are selling Eagle cars through online which the customers can make use to order easily.
