curling my hair with a straightening iron problems. I need recommendations for a new cheap straightener?

I just started curling my hair with a straightening iron. I use a very cheap 13 dollar conair iron. The first few times it worked beautifully. After the 4th time, the cord started swiveling together and tangeled so much when i would curl my hair. During curling my hair, it would turn off from being so tangeled together. Anyone know a 1 inch straightening iron that curls your hair without the tangels being tangled? I’m looking for one thats at Target or Walmart for under 30 dollars.
