Started dating a brilliant guy, I really like him, when do we take it to the next stage?
This weekend will be our 3rd date, and I’ve invited him round to mine to just chill out and spend time together with no time constraints or bar bills to contend with.
Would it be appropriate or will he be expecting to take things to the next step this weekend, or is it advisable to wait a while? How do I approach the subject with him so that we both know how what to expect from the weekend?
We’ve both been single for 6 months and I’ve only ever had one other relationship which lasted 6 years, and I don’t want to get it all wrong with him before we’re officially together.
Any advice/insight would be appreciated.

To clarify, I meant sex and intimacy. I waited 5 months to sleep with my ex, because we were both virgins and were young, but clearly I don’t want to wait that long now I’m 24!
just talk to him and ask him where he thinks the realationship is going, if you can talk to him with ease then everything will just happen when you both ready, lack of talking is the biggest problem in most relationships, so just relax and chat to him as most women never think to ask how the bloke feeling, he prob thinking and feeling very simlar to you. good luck….
oh and remember to tell him how you feel and what you want, if he the great guy you say he is he’ll respect you.
