How do I stop hurtful comments about my past?

When i wuz bout 8 i got cancer for like 3 years…now im healthy and fine…but going into high school people have been spreading rumors about my previous issues. I know its just stupid gossip but it hurts when someone asks me “OMG U CUD HAVE DIED”. How do I tell people to shut up without making me seem like a b*tch.

My cousin had stomach caner at age 8 also. I don’t know how he overcame the issues at school, but I do know that Chuck Norris came to where he was and was very kind.

When people react with concern — “OMG U CUD HAVE DIED” — it is because they care. Just tell them that you know God blessed you and saved you.
