Copper Proof

In the 1870s were copper cooking pots and pans rare?
I know cast iron was used. But I can’t find proof of copper being for the common people.
thanks, copper is more expensive though so I don’t know if it was a common household item or not…
I don’t have a solid answer, but I don’t see why it would be. Copper was one of the earliest discovered metal. If anything, it would just be replaced by the cast iron.
