how do you know when a coin roll is full?

how can you tell when you have enough or too many or too little coins in a coin roll? do you have to count? i hope not, that’s why i’m asking.

Count them, if I have a jar or coffee can of change my bank will run them in the counter and give me whatever the coins are worth. No fee.
If you are turning coins in to the bank they are going to open the roll and run them through the counter.
