I recently found an antique coin. What is it?
I recently found a 1913 gold coin with the face value of $ 2.50. Indian head on the front and a eagle on the reverse. The stamp says E Pluribus Unum, i was wondering what this might be worth or should I keep it for future value? The coin is the size of a dime but is much heavier.

That is a 2 1/2 dollar US gold coin. Nice little coin. Has some collector value. Also called an quarter Eagle. The recent closed auctions at eBay show a sales price from $172 and up. Most go over $200. Depends on condition as in any collector coin. Has 1/8th of an ounce of gold.
