How long does it take for an ear lobe piercing to close over and fully heal after taking the piercing out?

I got my second ear lobe piercings on my ears early this year and I am unhappy with the placement of them. I want to get them redone but obviously I have to take out the piercings I already have. I was wondering how long it will take for them to close over and fully heal, so that I can get them done again. Thank you.

Mmm ; I understand . My sister hasn’t used her ear piercing for about 7 months , the earring couldn’t go in but you could kinda see the hole . The hole went away about a year later and then she got it redone . Hope I helped you . (:
