Choice Unc

if you get into undergrad school, are you guarenteed getting into med school at the same college?
im interested in being a psychiatrist, and you have to go to med school to do that. i live in nc, so unc is my first choice. for one thing, what will my major be during the first 4 years of college? after i complete 4 years of whatever that is, am i automatically admitted into med school? how does all of this work? im a little confused.
Absolutely not. Colleges admit far more students for undergrad than med school – many med schools accept fewer than 3% of applicants. Any major is fine for undergrad as long as you take the premed courses in bio, chem, physics, math, and English, keep your GPA well over 3.5, and do well on the MCATs.
