Does anyone else think Miachael Steele is a great choice to lead the republican party?
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Republican Party chose its first black national chairman Friday, just shy of three months after the nation elected a Democrat as the first black president. The choice marked no less than “the dawn of a new party,” declared the new chairman, Michael Steele, former lieutenant governor of Maryland.
Republicans chose Steele over four other candidates, including former President George W. Bush’s hand-picked Republican chief, who bowed out and declared: “Obviously the winds of change are blowing.”
He is a fantastic choice! He’s well liked by both Republicans and Democrats.
He’s someone who speaks softly and carries a big stick. He’s not like some of these new-fangled Republicans, he’s from the old school, very charismatic and he uses common sense.
I really like him 
. We Repubs should be very proud of giving him this important job.
