Bicentennial Half

How much are my coins worth?
I really need some money now because I want this thing that came out, but I am not old enough to get a job so if these coins are worth anything that would be the best thing in the whole world! Please and Thank You! The coins: 1976 Kennedy Bicentennial Half Dollar, 1985 Lincoln Memorial Penny, 1957 Lincoln Wheat Cent, 1945 Lincoln Shell Case Penny, 1943 Lincoln Steel Penny, 1967 40% Silver Kennedy Half Dollar and it is the “Strange, but true” Lincoln and Kennedy set of those 6 coins it tells 13 “Uncanny” facts about there life that was so alike like one says they were both assassinated on a Friday with wife present. I’d like to tell you that you’ve struck a gold mine, but unfortunately, you haven’t.
I can’t give you a firm value on the coins from the picture, but I can tell you this
The ’57, ’45, and ’43 cents would be worth a couple of bucks each _if_ they were in uncirculated condition, meaning no wear at all. Really, really nice examples of the 1943 and 1945 might bring you $10, if you can find a buyer who’s interested.
That also assumes that the ’43 hasn’t been “replated”–when the steel cents were made, they took giant sheets of low-carbon steel, zinc plated the sheets, then punched out the coin blanks. Since the edges of the cent weren’t plated, the coins tended to rust terribly. Some people will take steel cents, and replate them to make them look “nice and shiny”. They look pretty, but they’re just not worth anything numismatically.
The 1985 Lincoln might net you a buck or two, but only for a really nice uncirculated one.
The 1976 half, again in uncirculated condition, might bring you $5.
The 1967 half is a little different. Because it’s 40% silver, it will never be worth less than the “bullion value” of the silver. With the silver price at about $23.50/troy ounce, the bullion value is about $3.45. A really nice uncirculated example might bring you $20 or so.
Those are just estimates. If you took the coins to a dealer, he or she could look at them, determine the condition, and make you an offer based on that. Remember that to a coin collector, condition is really important, so if an uncirculated coin might bring you $10, a coin with just a little wear might only bring $.50 or so.
