How can you prove your marriage and genuine relationship for immigration if you have never lived together?
For a married couple living apart in separate countries, how can they prove their relationship and marriage is genuine? Are photos, letters, chat log histories, phone bills, and the like enough?
In the situation of living apart, what’s essential to proving your relationship is genuine?

How far do plane tickets, chat logs, letters, emails, photos, and money transfers go?
It depends. If you guys have been spending considerable amount of time together, visiting each other and proving that you have a “fleshly” relationship instead of “virtual” relationship, you might get a better chance. I would think they would have suspicions because they see a lot of cases of immigration fraud (I’m not saying it’s your case!), but by the things I’ve observed. My husband and I went through the process here in the U.S., and they were really tough about wanting us to prove that we married in good faith. This is just my experience and what I’ve heard from other people that went through the immigration process (here in the U.S… I don’t know how immigration handles these cases in Canada).
